Amanda Anderson photoAmanda serves as a group facilitator, leading groups on DBT, life skills, boundaries, self-esteem, communication, and the Twelve Steps. She is an author and speaker, who has been teaching at recovery groups, women’s events and mothers’ support groups for over 10 years. Amanda has a passion for helping women develop authentic, encouraging community, and believes group work is one of the best tools for personal growth and relational skill building. She has authored small group curriculum on female friendship and the Twelve Steps, and collaborated on a relationship series based on Attachment Theory. Amanda brings a blend of humor and compassion to group work, and encourages women to believe they are capable of transformation. Amanda is a registered Alcohol and Drug Technician, and is studying to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
