Every year New Directions for Women host an annual picnic. This picnic serves the purpose of bring together those who have helped New Directions for Women to become what it is. Board Members, Volunteers, Staff, Family, Friends, surrounding community, and Alumni are invited to fellowship over food and wonderful scenery.This years Annual Picnic was a sight to see.
Where can you find beautiful smiles and good fellowship between co-workers? Where can you find a beach, with a beach slide, planted in the middle of a suburban community? Where can you find CEO, Volunteers, Board Memebers, Staff, and friends existing in harmony. Where can you get sand between your toes, water on your hair, and good food without expense? The New Directions for Women 2011 Annual Picnic, thats where!
It was a beautiful day as NDFW Supporters brought out children and family members to enjoy this occasion. The year featured catered hamburgers, hot dogs, and bratwurst sausages. Charles Dorsey tasted a “Bratwurst” for the first time and he will never be the same. This year feature fruit platters, desserts, and finger foods, cool beverages, and even a big jar of cheese puffs. Becky, New Directions for Women CEO, and her family was in town. Even some birds decided to stop by enjoy our fellowship and food! If was unforgettable.
