Rocio Ocampo-Giancola, Clinical Supervisor
Rocio is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She graduated from University of California San Diego with an emphasis in Human Development. She obtained her master’s in counseling in 2006 from San Diego State University. Suicide, sexual assault, and trauma have been a focus of her work. Rocio has worked at detention facilities, school settings, and unsheltered women’s facilities. She has been a clinical supervisor since 2014 and formerly supervised at McAlister Institute, a substance center for adolescents, women and men. Rocio has a private practice and works with youth, their families and individuals seeking to live a life they prefer. She embraces Narrative therapy practices and has been trained in EMDR.
