In two weeks, New Directions for Women will be hosting our 3rd Annual Circle of Life Breakfast on Monday, March 28th from 8:00 – 9:30 am in Newport Beach in order to deepen our relationship with current supporters, and also to introduce our organization to new people with a heart for our mission and vision. Our hope is everybody leaves with a greater understanding of our cause and the life changing work that we do. This is also one of our main fundraising events, and the funds raised at this event will help us to continue our success story of providing assistance to the underserved population of women who want to become sober and live a drug free life.
Since New Directions for Women opened its doors three decades ago, it has provided rehabilitation, recovery, and hope to over two thousand chemically dependent women who have courageously turned their lives around. We have provided services with respect and dignity to women and their families suffering from the devastating effects of addiction. Over 22 million people suffer from alcoholism or drug addiction and more than 9 million children live with an addicted parent. Only one in five people who need treatment receive it.
It is because of our committed donors, alumnae, and other constituents that New Directions continues its mission of transforming women, families and their children, one day at a time.
